Battle Strategies

In Dragon Mania Legends, there are many ways to protect yourself from taking damage, but there are not many ways of improving attack damage, but Crystal Dragon will tell you all about how he battles in Dragon Mania Legends.

1 - Super Stone Shield

In battles, your dragons will take a lot of damage when hit by dragons the same level as you and above if you do not have a Stone Shield, so it is best putting using a Stone Shield.

What Stone Shields can do:

When using a Stone Shield, the dragon you select will get a strong Stone Shield and their allies will get a weaker but still strong Stone Shield. Stone Shields block approximately 1,900 attack damage on the selected ally and the other allies will be protected from 1,000 attack damage if your Stone Shield dragon is at level 20 (Level 20 dragons usually have between 6,800 and 7,150 health). Stone Shields will be useful for protecting yourself from slightly higher level dragons too.

Note: Stone Shields only protect the dragon that the opponent aims at if the opponent attacks with Explosive Results or Electric Jolts.

2 - Dark Clouds of Doom!

When battling, attacks that damage more than one dragon will hurt your dragons a lot, so to stop that, you will need the Dark Clouds skill on one or more of your battle dragons.

What Dark Clouds can do:

When using the Dark Clouds skill on an opponent, you will lower their attack power temporarily. Dark Clouds are very useful when it comes to Electric Jolts and Explosive Results as the Dark Clouds lower the attack damage for the target and the allies.

Damage Difference (Normal attack and Level 20 dragons):

1,500 attack damage to 600 attack damage.

1,500 attack damage and 850 jolt damage to 600 attack damage and 250 jolt damage.

1,500 attack damage and 1,000 Explosive Results damage to 600 attack damage and 400 Explosive Results damage.

3 - Revitalize

Without the Revitalize skill in your battle dragons, it will be hard to battle without being able to regain health. The Water element skill is called Revitalize.

What Revitalizing can do:

In battle, if you are on low health, if you have a dragon with the Water element and the Revitalize skill, you can heal your allies up. Revitalize is like Explosive Results the other way around - instead of dealing damage, you heal up. For example, lets say all three of your battling level 20 dragon (6,800 - 7,300 health) are at half health and you need to heal them. With Revitalize, the target heals 2,100 - 2,600 health (amount healed depends on the attack power of the dragon) and the allies heal 800 - 980 health. Revitalizing is very useful.

Tip:

1. Revitalize when you reach half health. This is more effective than Revitalizing when you have more than half health and if you are late to heal and you have a little bit of health, your opponent/s may defeat you more easily.

2. If one of your allies is on low health and your other allies have higher health, heal the one with lower health to keep all your allies at high health.

4 - The Vengeful Sword

If you are in battle, it would be nice to attack the opponent back without losing a turn. With the Vengeful Sword skill, you can.

What Vengeful Swords can do:

When Vengeful Swords are used, the target dragon gets a powerful Vengeful Sword and the other allies get a less powerful Vengeful Sword. The sword is very useful (especially on plant type dragons) as it attacks the opponent after they attack you without you losing a turn.
